The Iconfactory designed the official icon suite to accompany the world premiere of the Paramount and Dreamworks blockbuster film – War of the Worlds. The film, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise, is a modern re-telling of H.G. Wells’ cautionary tale of invaders from Mars. The client requested an icon set that captured the tone of the film without giving away crucial plot points or “spoilers”. The result is a set of icons that fans loved, and that the studios could give away as free promotional material.
