Early Wireframes:

Suunto – a leading designer and manufacturer of sports instruments – was working on a new collection of unique adventure travel watches designed for people born with the urge to explore. They approached us to design and develop an iPhone app that would sync with the data on the watch.

The 7R App connects to the Suunto Kailash watch via Bluetooth, unlocking the full potential of the watch. Via the app, users have their complete travel logbook at their fingertips. Designing and developing a timeline that felt great and worked with as much precision as the watch itself was one of the bigger design challenges. The unique timeline pulls photos from the camera roll and softly merges them with the map. As users scroll through time they simultaneously see where they were travelling in the world along with the photos they took at that moment.
