Taking the app icon for DEXIS’ industry-acclaimed app “DEXIS go” into the era of iOS 7 was a task made easy by our previous collaboration with the client, as we had already been moving in quite a similar direction in terms of icon design. The strong glyphs and simplified spacial blocking of the iOS 6 version made for a smooth, logical transition to the clean graphic style of the new operating system.

This app icon shows how a foundation of clear graphic design can work flexibly within varying style philosophies – it enabled us to continue projecting a professional, communicative and user-friendly presence for the client despite a fairly drastic shift in OS system style.
