Max-Mobility, makers of an award-winning, lightweight, and powerful wheelchair assist device, hired us to help them design and code a companion app that enables users to track day-to-day propulsion metrics with a tap and a few swipes on their smartphone. Bluetooth seamlessly connects the wheelchair device, wristband and mobile app to give a complete picture of mobility activity, helping to monitor daily habits, reduce risk for injury and ultimately improve user’s quality of life!

When a user launches PushTracker on their iPhone or Android device, they are immediately presented with large, clear metrics and easy to read charts for three key areas of performance: Push, Coast and Drive. The unique omniwheel used in the SmartDrive hardware became a key element in the interface design. A fun element of the app is Journey mode which lets a user track their route when exploring a park or city and then share with friends on social media.
